Jamie Mitchell and his wife, Taylor, are the founders of Charro Energy, an energy focused consulting firm based in Texas. As head of Business Development for Charro Energy, Jamie is responsible for developing small to midsized companies with average growth rates of 70% annually. He is also Managing Partner for Mitchell Partners LP, a Private Equity fund that has a diverse portfolio including Engineering Design & Manufacturing, Oil and Gas Services, Application Development, Insurance and several others. His recent activities include developing OptiFluids, a new process for tracking and injecting oil and gas fluids saving customers upwards of 30% and having an initial payback at 72 hours of operations. This process has been recognized in multiple publications including Industrial Water World, Energy and Production Magazine, Energy Global, and Oilfield Technology. Jamie is also co-owner in a diverse portfolio of companies such as COJO Partners, Charro Energy (business development consulting), Texas Republic Capital Corporation (insurance holdings), Three Star LLC (water hauling), Red Stag Logistics (dairy logistics), The Expert TA (online engineering tutoring), and First Source Holdings (oil and gas drilling). Mr. Mitchell earned a degree in Entrepreneurship from Oklahoma State University, an MBA in Energy from Texas Christian University and earned an Executive Education from Harvard Business School.
